Introduction<\/h1>\n<p>The Metrology Laboratory, part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (a member of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), was founded in 1993. The concept of creating a laboratory specialized in measuring geometric dimensions in mechanical processing was initiated by Mr. Le Minh Ngoc, who was the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The establishment of the metrology laboratory was based on a collaborative project between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mitutoyo Corporation of Japan.
