Leads and comprehensively manages all activities within the functions, duties, and authority of the Dean at the university level; responsible to the President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM and higher-level authorities for all aspects of the Faculty’s operations.

Directly oversees and manages the following areas:

Organization and personnel.
Finance and facilities.
Emulation and commendation.
Academic development.
Mass organizations.
Investment projects.
Implementation of the Faculty’s strategic plan and development orientation.

* The Vice Deans assist the Dean in directing and executing the tasks assigned by the Dean; they are responsible to the Dean, the University President, and the law for their assigned duties. For important or extraordinary matters, Vice Deans must report to and consult with the Dean before making decisions. When necessary, the Dean will directly participate in leading and resolving tasks under the Vice Deans’ responsibilities./.
