HCMUT ACHIEVING MORE CTI, FIBAA, ASIIN ACCREDITATION

HCMUT achieving more CTI, FIBAA, ASIIN accreditation

8 specializations in the Training Program of Excellent Engineers in Vietnam (PFIEV) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (member of Vietnam National University-HCMC) have been accredited under CTI, FIBAA, ASIIN standards. Students of these majors can easily transfer their earned credits to training programs of other international universities, while their chances of gaining a good job will be higher.
Accordingly, the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI) and the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) carried out an online evaluation process from March 16 – 18, 2022 and then awarded accreditation for 8 specializations of PFIEV:

Mechatronics – Mechanical Engineering Faculty;
Aviation Engineering – Mechanical Engineering Faculty;
Energy Materials – Mechanical Engineering Faculty;
Polymer and Composite Materials – Materials Engineering Faculty;
Telecommunications – Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty;
Energy System – Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty;
Civil – Industrial Engineering and Energy Efficiency – Civil Engineering Faculty;
Urban Water Management and Engineering – Civil Engineering Faculty.

Until July 12, 2022, HCMUT – VNU-HCMC has had 51 training programs accredited by international accreditation organizations, accounting for 35.17% of all programs held by the university. Particularly, 47/66 undergraduate programs have been accredited, comprising 71.21%.
