Following the successful 2025 Grand Finale hosted at the University of Leeds, the 2026 competition is now open for global registration. This international sustainability competition provides a structured, multi-round platform where students develop practical, financially viable solutions to real-world environmental and social challenges. Why encourage your students to participate?
Students will:
• Develop real-world sustainability solutions
• Strengthen analytical thinking, research capability, and teamwork
• Work under the guidance of a mentor
• Compete for cash prizes, certificates, and international recognition
• Engage with global academics and sustainability professionals
• Build strong portfolio evidence for employability and postgraduate applications
Participation also demonstrates your institution’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and global engagement. The early rounds are conducted fully online, enabling students from anywhere in the world to participate and progress towards the Grand Finale at the University of Leeds, UK.
Eligibility:
• Students aged 16–32
• University and college learners
• Teams of three to five students
We would greatly appreciate it if you could circulate this opportunity among relevant departments (Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Social Sciences, etc.) and encourage interested teams to complete their registration before 28 February 2026.
