Giải thưởng Sáng tạo Châu Á thường niên của Quỹ Toàn cầu Hitachi (The Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award) được triển khai từ năm 2020, với mục tiêu thúc đẩy phát triển khoa học, công nghệ và đổi mới sáng tạo nhằm giải quyết các vấn đề xã hội, tiến tới một xã hội bền vững trong khu vực ASEAN. Giải thưởng công nhận các cá nhân, nhóm nghiên cứu có những thành tựu nổi bật trong nghiên cứu và phát triển trong lĩnh vực khoa học và công nghệ, với tầm nhìn về một xã hội tương lai và có các kế hoạch triển khai để đạt được các mục tiêu phát triển bền vững (Sustainable Development Goals – SDG) của Liên hợp quốc.
Năm 2025, Giải thưởng sẽ dành cho các nghiên cứu thuộc 17 mục tiêu phát triển bền vững như sau:
– Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
– Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
– Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
– Goal 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
– Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
– Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
– Goal 7. Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
– Goal 8. Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
– Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
– Goal 10. Reduce inequality within and among countries.
– Goal 11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
– Goal 12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
– Goal 13. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*.
– Goal 14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.
– Goal 15. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
– Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
– Goal 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
Các năm vừa qua, Trường ĐHBK vinh dự có 04 nhà khoa học được trao giải thưởng Sáng tạo Châu Á của Quỹ Toàn cầu Hitachi với 1 Giải thưởng Best Innovation Award, 2 Giải thưởng Outstanding Innovation Award và 1 Giải thưởng Encouragement Award.
Năm 2025, Trường ĐHBK tiếp tục vinh dự là một trong 4 trường của Việt Nam, 26 trường thuộc 06 Quốc gia được Quỹ trực tiếp mời tham dự giải thưởng. Năm nay, Trường ĐHBK được đề cử tối đa 5 ứng viên. Phòng KH&CN kính đề nghị các nhà khoa học và các nhóm nghiên cứu tham khảo và chuẩn bị hồ sơ tham gia Giải thưởng.
Quy trình và lịch trình đăng ký tham dự Giải thưởng như sau:
1. Ứng viên tham dự gửi hồ sơ và minh chứng kèm theo về Phòng KH&CN qua email: khcn@hcmut.edu.vn trước ngày 13/06/2025.
2. Phòng KH&CN tập hợp hồ sơ và lập báo cáo trình Ban Giám hiệu.
3. Trường tổ chức xét chọn và đề cử danh sách tối đa 05 ứng viên. Các ứng viên được lựa chọn sẽ được thông báo kết quả và cung cấp thư đề cử của nhà Trường trước ngày 22/6/2025.
4. Phòng KH&CN nộp hồ sơ dự thưởng trực tuyến cho Quỹ trước ngày 27/06/2025.
