Recruiting Details: M.S. or Ph.D. students (starting from 2018 Fall Semester)
Description: One position for a dedicated graduate student is available for the research on the following subjects: (1) Development of wearable energy storage devices, (2) Laser processing on nanomaterials, (3) Laser-based additive manufacturing technology. These positions will support the research projects funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea. Eligibility/Requirements: An applicant must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree granted in mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering or science such as physics and chemistry, or must be conferred with the degree before the beginning of the appointment. Applicants should have a TOEIC score higher than 600 or its equivalent.
Scholarships: Successful applicants will receive
(1) AF-1 scholarship (100 % of Tuition Fee)
(2) A financial support of at least $700/month (M.S. students) and at least $1,000/month (Ph. D. students)
(3) Additional research incentives depending on students’ achievements (More details can be offered on request.)

Outline of CAYSS program:
The Chung-Ang University Young Scientist Scholarship (CAYSS) Program is a newly launched graduate program in the Graduate School of Chung-Ang University. CAYSS, opened in Fall 2010, aims to pick out and recruit overseas students from prominent institutions and universities all over the world, that are majoring in Engineering and Science The students must be highly recommended by one of the Chung-Ang University’s faculty members. The recipients of this scholarship will enjoy entrance fee and full tuition fee waivers for four semesters.
