As your products are produced at your suppliers’ site, you develop your supplier’s expertise to produce quality products within short lead-times and low cost.
Responsibilities:
- Development:
- Coordinate the sample development between HQ and factory
- Control and validate the quality of your samples
- Build and Manage the Development Planning
- Purchase:
- Negotiate the price of your products
- Analyse the cost break down of the products
- Make quotation on new products to expend your business
- Industrialization:
- Optimize the first production to ensure the quality and the technicity of the mass production
- Follow up and support the factory to improve production efficiency – Continuous improvement: Improve and optimize the production processes

Your profile:
- Your passion and love for Sports.
- At least 2 year experience in Textile Garment Quality Management, Development, Quotation
- Your excellent English and Vietnamese communication skills
- Your problem solving and result oriented skills
- Your ability to make a decision and take responsibility in your role – Your Leadership and project management skills
- Your punctual, organized, detailed, fast learning and customer service mindset. You take deadlines seriously!
- Your love to be on-the-field. You will work closely with product at the production site at least 3 days/week.
- Your mobility. You can move/work in many places and many countries.

Inside the Woven Fabric Sourcing team, we are motivated by Integrating and mastering the design, the development & supply of our components
Our components are one of the most technical processes in the textile industry with many processes like water- repellency, coating, lamination, hydrophilic treatment…
Your everyday motto is: “With pleasure, I do my best to ensure that my Fabric Supplier is respecting
Decathlon requirement while proposing a great range of products at the right quality & price”
Your Responsibilities are:
- I am responsible for my Fabric Supplier Management (Human, Quality & Environment assessment)
- I manage along with my supplier the developments of fabric’s range (Woven Natural/Blended Fabric)
- I stay aware of all innovative fabrics & new process
- I negotiate price twice a year based on industrial approach and cost analysis
- I communicate and pass on my strong technical know-how.
- I ensure that the fabric of my supplier is developed on time & at the right quality
- I make sure all colors are developed for each season (lab-dip, first bulk etc…)
- I follow closely by testing & inspecting my fabrics in order to respect Decathlon Technical Specifications
- I assist my supplier on Continuous Improvement
Located in Ho Chi Minh, your responsibilities are linked to one supplier where you have to be 3 days/week.
Frequent business trip within Vietnam and potential trip to France
WHO ARE YOU
- Autonomous, Curious & open minded.
- Sports enthusiast.
- Good communication, team spirit. Anticipation & projection skills.
- You have been Fabric Technologist or/and worked for a woven fabric mill
- Ability to organize, prioritize your activities & finish your work on time.
- Fluent in English & Vietnamese, French would be a significant added value.
