Role Purpose

·         To handle daily samples process and colors recipe adjustment

 

·         To ensure the correct of spectrophotometer to conduct colour measurement and pass/fail of laboratory batches and bulk batch in order to efficiently service all SWO/ Bulk order.

 

 

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
 

·       Safety & Housekeeping 

 

·       Follow Company Health and Safety regulations.

·       Ensure all accidents/incidents and near miss are reported immediately for Dyelab Manager.

·       Actively look for areas where safety can be improved to report to relevant people.

·       Maintain high standards for housekeeping.

 

·       Productivity/Quality]

 

·       Completely follow relevant work instructions(WIs) and standard operating procedures(SOPs)

·       To handle daily colors samples effectively

·       To handle colors matching and formulation of all samples, report to supervisor/Manager for any assistance.

·       Sampling analysis in order to sort out popular colors to keep stocks.

·       To manage the cross match table with brands or competitors colors

·       To follow up key customer samples and arrange the samples priority and quantities.

·       Perform calibrations of spectrophotometer (including UV calibration) as required and ensure that Maestro correlation is properly enabled on spectrophotometers

 

·       Discipline

·       Completely follow internal labour regulations including working hours, fingerprint scanning, disciplinary measures…

Education, Qualifications and Experience
Essential Desirable
·       College/University graduate

·       Good attitude

·       Good discipline

·       Be able to work with computer

·       Good colour vision (Score ≤16) as measured by Munsell 100 hue colour vision test

 

 

·       Basic technical knowledge of dyeing methods, dyestuffs and auxiliary chemicals.

·       Certificate with relation to textile and colour physics subject and have at least 1-2 experience in textile industry are preferred.

·       Reading and writing English in the job area are preferred

·       Basis Lean, Housekeeping
